For the past 10 years, Bend-La Pine Schools in Oregon have been leading the way when it comes to offering online learning opportunities for K-12 students. Bend-La Pine Schools Online offers multiple online learning programs across the district to meet the many varying needs of its students.

Learning Outside the Lines had the unique opportunity of speaking with Tres Tyvand, Student Services Coordinator for Bend-La Pine Schools Online.  In Part One of this podcast series, Tyvand provides the following key insights with regards to successful online learning programs for school districts:
