Online ELL Courses for Grades 4–10 Digital Solutions for English Language Learners A Project-Based Learning Approach to Mastering English Fuel Education's online curriculum by Middlebury Interactive Languages™ offers a new way to engage non-native English speaking students. Our supplemental English Language Learner program focuses on the fundamentals of academic English and literacy development for students in grades 4–10. The curriculum is interactive, designed at grade level, and features age-appropriate themes to engage students. Students in the English Language Learner program will complete projects that relate to English language arts, social studies, math, and science through a culturally inclusive curriculum that favors multicultural perspectives. Students will build critical thinking, vocabulary, and communication skills through a combination of individualized task-based activities and collaborative project-based learning. Middlebury Interactive Languages English Language Learner Curriculum 4–5 ELEMENTARY 6–8 MIDDLE SCHOOL 9–10 HIGH SCHOOL I, II Entering I, II, III Entering Task-based activities and engaging curricular themes are applicable to real-world settings and align with Common Core, ELPA21, WIDA, CA ELD, and TX ELPS standards. A sample of the themes includes: Autobiographies & Biographies, Heroes & Role Models, Animals, Biology & The Environment, and Inventions & Technology. The flexibility of the modular structure allows teachers to supplement an English language learning curriculum and support students struggling in any of the four skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
