New Partnership Leads to Greater Success for ELLs

February 17, 2017

Hartford Public Schools serve the largest percentage of English Language Learners in the state of Connecticut, with close to 20 percent of students in the district learning English as a second language. These 3,800 students come from very diverse backgrounds and speak more than 80 different languages, and they are often a very transient student population. Learn how the district teamed up with Fuel Education’s Middlebury Interactive Languages to overcome this significant challenge and implement a new curriculum for English Language Learners.
